In short: we don't know you, we don't collect your data, we don't track you.

Account and data collection

Kendime Söz doesn't require an account. As the developer, we don't collect any personal data, including your name, email, location or usage habits, we don't send it to our servers and we don't share it with third parties. The app has no ads, analytics or tracking tools.

Where your data lives

Your manifesto, journal entries, favorites, plans and settings are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, this data syncs through Apple's iCloud service only to devices linked to your own Apple account. We can't access this data.

On Apple Watch there is only the sentence of the day, which recent days were read and your streak. These are transferred directly from your phone to your watch.

On Android, if your device backup is on, your app data may be backed up to your Google account through Android's own backup service. This backup doesn't reach us and we can't access it.

Permissions

Notifications: Daily sentence reminders are scheduled locally on the device. No outside server sends notifications.

Face ID / Touch ID: If you turn on the app lock, authentication is done only by your device. The app can't access biometric data.

Saving to Photos: If you want to save a share card to your library, only permission to save is requested, we don't read your library.

Sharing

When you share a sentence or your manifesto, only the image or PDF you choose is passed to the app you choose (Instagram, WhatsApp, Messages and so on). Sharing is entirely in your control.

Deleting your data

With "Delete all my data" in the Profile section you can permanently delete all the data on your device. When you remove the app, the data on the device is deleted too. With "Export my data (JSON)" you can take your data as a readable file.

Children

Because the app doesn't collect personal data, it doesn't collect data from children either.

Changes

If this policy changes, it will be published on this page with a new date.
